of the velvety rose
are soft as
the dewey mountain air
in the high Himalayan Mountains.
All mountains snow and sleet smothered
small sections
of the spectacular snowy
scene surrounding spring sunlight.
Through the tumbled mountains
hard rusted hulks of sheet
metal enclosed in the automobile graveyard
by a harsh raucous fence.
Euphony
Sibilance
Cacophony
Annie,
ReplyDeleteI really like your poem! I thought that you did a great job with using sibilance. I think that you did a great job describing what it looks like the Himalayas, too.
Great job!

Annie,
ReplyDeleteCool poem. I liked how you described everything in a lot of detail. I didn't like the idea of a junkyard in the mountains but it was a really good contrast; the natural beauty of the mountains with the unsightly decaying junkyard secluded in the mountains. I happen to notice that.
Good post!
Alex
Annie,
ReplyDeleteThis poem is awesome. You added vivid details which made me visualize the image in my mind. I feel like the way you described the mountains was very interesting. I felt as if I knew sacred details about them. Do you like writing poems?
Good Poem!
Brooke
Annie,
ReplyDeleteGreat Poem. Your detail was great and better than mine.
