Coco Chanel an Intimate Life

      This week I have been reading Coco Chanel an Intimate Life.  It has been very interesting, I decided to read it because I love fashion and Coco Chanel was a fashion designer.  The question I have written is “How do earlier life experiences affect later life?”  At first her life was very depressing because she was an escort with her sister then finally got married but her husband abused her.  She then fell in love with a man who next dies in a car crash.  Breaking her heart.  This affected her because it made her stronger as a person, even though all this happened.  She still loved fashion and came up with her own clothing line.  I am inspired by her strength and passion.  I am also curious to see what happens next!

1965 Mustang

  Earlier this summer my dad got my mom a 1965 mustang for her birthday.  This past week we were riding in it.  It is fun because it is a confer-table and bright apple red.  Your hair gets really messy after, and its sometimes hard to hear the music, but the ride is worth it!  My family and I were going out to dinner, so we stopped to get some food.  When we were about to drive off from eating dinner.  A man comes up to the window and said his dad had a one too.  Although it was a long time ago.  He told us about how he met his wife because he took it out without permission, and told her that he could stay out as long as he wanted too.  However he had the pressure to get it back before his parents came back from dinner with friends.  They went to the movies and out to eat.  Finally he said he got it back home before his parents found out.  Now they are still together and married.  

Introduction

     Hello, my name is Annie!  Here are a few things about me.  I love fashion and couture.  I also love helping out with people less fortunate than me, animals and nature, but not going into nature.  Now, getting to the blog.  "Annie's Blog" will mostly be about my thoughts and opinions on current reads and also about me.

    I am so excited about this course!  As well, I have a few goals.  I want to at least make a B.  I want to do and try my best.  I want to have more time for reading and enjoying it.

      One thing about the class that I like is the Idea Book.  I like the idea book because it's all your thoughts and pre writing in one place that you can go back and look at.  In addition to, I like the notebook format.  Again, I am so excited about this course and about High school!

Divergent

      Divergent was a great book, the past summer when I was reading it made me go into deep thought.  I really liked the intense of it and the setting.  For example how there were all different factions and people with different thoughts and views of the world were seperated in the same faction.  Although it was a little scary, thinking about a world like that.  The romance between Tris and Four was really enjoyable, and unexpected at first.  Also when her brother picked his new faction at the choosing ceremony was also very unexpected.

   The book was set  like her old faction was her old world and her new faction is her new world.  It would be very hard to leave all you know to a place you haven't even seen or been to before, as they say "Faction before family."  Fighting your peers and friends that determines if you stay or become faction less is also very scary.  I loved the book, and suggest it to anyone who wants some action and romance!
